1.Scholarships are available to a senior secondary student who plans to continue or further his/her education in the health care field.
2.All scholarship materials must be mailed together in one envelope. This includes letters of recommendation, transcript, essay, etc.Incomplete applications will not be considered. The letters of recommendation must be received by the State Department in sealed envelopes signed by the author.
3. Update: 2012-2013 Scholarship Essay Topic: Please write an essay (300 words maximum) answering the following questions: 1) How has HOSA: Future Health Professionals been beneficial to your personal development?
2) Describe your future career goals, and discuss how HOSA: Future Health Professionals has helped to prepare you for your chosen field.
4.All applications must be typed, word-processed, or legible handwriting. All applications must be grammatically correct and complete for acceptance and review by Tennessee HOSA.
5. All applications are to be submitted by the student applicant and mailed directly to TN HOSA:

7.Applications must be Received by December 31, 2012 for consideration.Late arrivals will not be considered.
7.The Awards Committee will make the final decision on scholarship awards and scholarship recipients will be announced at State HOSA Leadership Conference.
8.A check for the monetary award will be mailed to the post-secondary institution once the student has registered for classes in the Fall Semester.It is the responsibility of the student to notify the TN HOSA State Advisor with a mailing address.Scholarship Recipients will be announced at the Closing Ceremony Awards Session.
9.The amount and number of scholarships will vary from year to year. Only one application is needed for HOSA members to be considered for ALL HOSA scholarships.
10.The recipient is not required to attend the SLC in order to receive his/her award.
